Follow these easy steps to get your AEG ÖKO_FAVORIT 4070 Dishwasher up and running in no time.
Before you begin the setup process, inspect the dishwasher for any transport damage. Do not connect a damaged appliance and contact your vendor if damage is found.
Ensure the dishwasher is placed on a firm floor and adjusted to be stable and level. Use a screwdriver to adjust the threaded feet to compensate for any floor unevenness.
For built-in models, if the dishwasher is set up next to a cooker, mount a heat-insulating, non-flammable plate between the dishwasher and the cooker. Ensure the plate is flush with the top edge of the work surface.
Connect the dishwasher to the water supply. Only connect to the hot water supply if your hot water is not electrically heated. Ensure the water softener is correctly adjusted as per the water hardness.
Secure the drain hose against sliding off by fitting the elbow to the drain hose. Use a piece of cord to fix the hose elbow to the wall or tap.
Open the door, remove the lower rack, and unscrew the lid on the salt container. Fill the container with water if it's the first use. Use the supplied funnel to fill with special salt, ensuring a capacity of 1.0-1.5 kg.
Before starting, load cutlery and dishes ensuring spray arms can rotate freely. Remove any large food residues before loading.
Press the ON/OFF button, then press the programme button for the desired wash cycle. Ensure the programme indicator illuminates. The selected programme begins after approximately 6 seconds.
